A dynamic youth exchange financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program.

As part of our learning mobility project, “Energy of Future Generations,” which is co-funded by the European Union, young people across Europe converged in Podhájska, in the Nitra Region of southwest Slovakia.

The aim of the youth exchange event was for young individuals passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a global impact to explore sustainable energy solutions, develop essential skills and collaborate with peers from Slovakia, Romania, Germany, Lithuania and Poland.

Participants engaged in interactive workshops and exchanges needed to become advocates for sustainability in their communities. They experienced inspiring and empowering hands-on learning at Energoland – an information center for energy and electricity generation located at the site of a nuclear power plant between Levice and Nitra. The center, which mainly serves schools and the public, provided a unique opportunity for practical learning, inspiring the participants and empowering them with valuable knowledge and skills. Participants built capacity and knowledge of different energy sources, such as solar energy, biomass energy and Geothermal energy.

Impactful intercultural exchanges enabled the participants to gain knowledge of other cultures and traditions, enhancing mutual understanding, harmony and relationship-building.

We are grateful to our volunteers for their engagement throughout the program. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners across Europe, the dedicated facilitators, and the diligent project management team for their unwavering cooperation and understanding during the event.
