Mental Health Through Nature And Community

Our Volunteers joined participants & partners from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Poland for a learning expedition in the beautiful city of Budapest, Hungary.

The team engaged others in various capacity-building programs, including workshops on mental health and leadership training. It was also a great opportunity to network and build new connections.

The trip was an important phase in the implementation of the Erasmus+ co-funded project on mental health development through nature and community.

Project Objectives

The project aims to raise awareness in different areas of our lives, find good examples of it and provide a safe place to share with others on the following topics:

  • Mental Health Emphasis: Focusing on mental well being for youth, highlighting its importance alongside physical health.
  • Nature’s Impact: Exploring how nature influences mental health and promoting environmental consciousness.
  • Community Dynamics: Investigating the role of community in young people’s lives, both their impact and influence.
The youth exchange will be based on an interactive and participative approach. Non-formal learning methods will be used during the entire program of the youth exchange e.g. workshops, and simulation practices.
