Youth Exchange “CommUNITY Diplomats”

22 – 31.03.2026, Thessaloniki, Greece

This youth exchange brings together young people from Greece and Germany to explore the idea of “everyday diplomacy” as a lived practice of understanding, cooperation, and connection.

Through creative and interactive methods such as role-playing, team missions, and simulation games, participants become “CommUnity Diplomats,” representing values, lived experiences, and underrepresented voices rather than nations.

The project promotes active citizenship, cultural awareness, empathy, diversity, and inclusion while encouraging collaboration, community engagement, and peaceful problem-solving. By reflecting on their identities and roles in society, participants gain practical tools to create positive civic impact and carry these lessons into their communities, universities, and social circles; reframing diplomacy as the art of connecting and building shared futures in everyday life.
