Exploring strategies and solutions to revitalise rural communities.
The challenges facing rural communities are vast and complex in the ever-changing rural landscape of Europe and beyond. Depopulation, limited economic opportunities, environmental sustainability and access to essential services continue to affect rural livelihoods.
In Athragon Village, Ricadi, Italy, our volunteers teamed up with their peers from Italy, Serbia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Greece and Georgia to explore strategies and solutions to revitalize rural areas, including using technology, sustainable agriculture, and rural tourism.
Through interactive presentations, workshops, and educational and strategic games, participants exchanged views and innovative ideas for improving life in rural communities.
Intercultural exchanges, teamwork, drama and artistic engagements enable the participants to build new networks for future collaborations.
