Building Bridges Across
Europe and Beyond
Horizon Resource Network (HRN) is an active Erasmus+ organisation shaping the next generation of changemakers through international mobility, volunteering, and transformative learning.
Our Erasmus+ work spans social inclusion, green and digital transitions, democratic participation, and vocational education — delivered in close partnership with local, national, and international organisations across Europe and beyond.
Our Erasmus+ Activities
From dynamic youth exchanges to strategic capacity-building, we deliver a full spectrum of Erasmus+ activities that create lasting impact.
Youth Exchange
We design and host cross-border youth exchanges that bring together young people from diverse backgrounds to learn from one another, tackle shared challenges, and develop intercultural competencies. Our exchanges focus on themes like social inclusion, emotional wellbeing, digital skills, and community engagement.
Training Course
Our training courses are designed for youth workers, educators, and practitioners seeking to strengthen their professional competencies. Participants engage in non-formal and informal learning methods that are participatory, reflective, and immediately applicable in their home organisations.
Youth Participation
We actively support young people's engagement in democratic life. Through our participation projects, young people gain the knowledge, skills, and platforms to raise their voices, influence decisions, and contribute to civic life at the local, national, and European levels.
Volunteering (ESC)
As a holder of the ESC Quality Label, HRN is an accredited sending and hosting organisation for the European Solidarity Corps. Volunteers contribute meaningfully to our projects, gaining experience and recognition while making a tangible difference in their communities.
Capacity Building
We partner with organisations in the Global South and Eastern Partnership countries to develop institutional capacities, strengthen youth systems, and share good practices. Our capacity-building projects promote mutual learning and sustainable development across borders.
Partnership Development
We initiate and participate in transnational partnerships that produce innovative outputs — from toolkits and curricula to policy recommendations. Our cooperative partnerships are long-term investments in shared knowledge and sustainable organisational growth.
ESC Quality Label
The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Quality Label is awarded to organisations that demonstrate the highest standards of volunteer management, safety, and support. HRN is proud to hold this accreditation as both a hosting and sending organisation.
This accreditation affirms our commitment to meaningful volunteering experiences that benefit volunteers and communities alike. Volunteers with HRN receive structured mentoring, intercultural support, and a Youthpass certificate recognising their competency development.
For partner organisations, our ESC Quality Label guarantees that any volunteering collaboration with HRN adheres to European standards of quality, transparency, and non-discrimination.
