Digital Youth Work: Building Future

Idrija, a quaint town in Slovenia, was the location of our recent training program.

The project was specifically designed to foster the development of digital competencies, such as digital communication, that are crucial for advancing Youth work in Europe.

As our world is undeniably digital, investing in transformational digital processes that enhance service delivery across various engagement levels is a no-brainer. Digitization improves access, enhances preservation, increases efficiency and can save cost.

Project Objectives

  • Empowerment of youth workers on the field of Digital Youth Work
  • Strengthening the competences of youth workers for Digital Youth Work
  • Get to know different digital tools used for youth work
  • Get to know how to implement Digital Youth Work in your organization
  • Exchange different successful practices,
  • knowledges, skills.

Within the framework of the project, co-funded by the #EuropeanUnion, participants from Latvia, Germany, Romania, Slovakia and Germany learned and gained new knowledge and ideas about digital tools, platforms, and practices to advance their work & personal lives.

Idrija Youth Center (Mladinski center Idrija) – a community space and youth node in the town of Idrija (Slovenia) that functions as a meeting place for young people and increasingly for the whole community of Idrija.

A time well spent in Slovenia offered opportunities for exchange, empowerment, building new connections, and expanding our Horizons.

We are grateful to our volunteers for their engagement throughout the program.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners across Europe, the dedicated facilitators, and the diligent project management team for their unwavering cooperation and understanding throughout the project’s lifetime. Special appreciation goes to our brilliant hosts at Idrija Youth Center (Mladinski Center Idrija) for their exceptional organization and delivery.
