About the Training Course

DIGY in YOUth is an Erasmus+ project dedicated to strengthening the digital competences of youth workers and youth leaders. It addresses the pressing challenges of an increasingly digital world by providing participants with practical skills in using digital tools, understanding artificial intelligence, and recognizing misinformation. The project fosters responsible digital behaviour, enhances media literacy, and encourages the mindful and ethical use of online platforms.

  • Digital Skills Workshops – Hands-on training in coworking platforms, video editing, graphic design, AI applications, and more.

  • Role-Playing Activities – Simulations to reflect on our reliance on technology and build critical digital awareness.

  • Expert Sessions – Interactive presentations and discussions with specialists on key digital topics.

  • Creation of a Digital Toolbox – A practical resource compiling tools, tips, and strategies for responsible and effective digital engagement.

Language of Learning: English

You Can Apply If:

  • You are based in Germany.

  • You are 18–35 years old.

  • You have an interest in fact-checking and becoming more aware of online content.

  • You are motivated to develop your digital competencies.

  • You can speak and write English at an intermediate level or higher.

Dates: 31 October – 10 November 2025
Location: Riga, Latvia

Accommodation: Participants will stay at RIJA VEF Hotel, Brīvības iela 199c, Riga, Latvia.

All accommodation and meals are fully covered by the Erasmus+ programme. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to a set amount, calculated according to Erasmus+ distance bands and rules, based on the distance between your hometown and the project venue.

Participants will receive three meals per day, tailored to their dietary preferences.

A non-refundable participation fee of €50 applies.
